Mighty Pines is Hiring!

Do you get a high when talking to excited customers? Are you a natural at sales when you honestly believe a product is awesome?

Then we’d like to introduce you to the Mighty Pines Team!

We’re looking for energetic, sales-loving, additions to our Christmas Market team. If you’ve ever seen one of our booths at this time of year, you know what BUSY and EXCITED look like.

Each weekend from Nov 5 to Dec 6, 2026, we’ll kill it again at the Millarville Christmas Market and Spruce Meadows as well as exc.

These two positions are HARD WORK (yes you get breaks, but you are ON for long hours), and offer an incredibly fun experience, with a bonus structure that offers the chance for big additional daily income.

The Action You’ll Take Part In

• Pour tons (and tons) of samples for happy customers.
• Sell Mighty Pines’ delicious mixers (our products are non-alcoholic but may be mixed with spirits).
• Provide recommendations and insight on how to mix amazing drinks using our mixers.
• Replenish shelves with our beautiful products.
• Take payment, bag product and send happy people on their merry way.

Additional Retail Manager Responsibilities

• Manage cash box and money float.
• Manage inventory and restock when needed.
• Close space at end of day according to the Market guidelines.
•  Open and prep space each morning.
• Support the Retail Assistant.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with the Mighty Pines owner.

Retail Assistant, Contracted, Full-Time, Seasonal

Pay: $16/hr + daily bonuses (based on bonus/sales structure).

Retail Manager, Contracted, Full-Time, Seasonal

Pay: $20/hr + daily bonuses (based on bonus/sales structure).

Dates & Times posted below, you will be asked to arrive 30 minutes before start time and likely will require 30 minutes of reset time at the end of the day.

We will hire multiple Calgary team members and 1-2 Island members – you do not need to work all dates and times for a single position, however we will give preference to those who have availability to cover most position dates.

Millarville Christmas Market (Millarville, AB)

• Market: Nov 5-8, 12-15
• Setup: Nov 4 / Move out: 5Nov 16.
  
• Hours: Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun 9am-4pm

Spruce Meadows Christmas Market 

• Market: Nov 13-15, 20-22, 27-29, Dec 4-6
• Setup: Nov 12 / Move out: Dec 7.
• Hours: Fri 11am-8pm, Sat 10am-7pm, Sun 10am-6pm

VANCOUVER ISLAND MARKETS

Once Upon a Craft Fair (Beban Park, Nanaimo)

• Market: Nov 6-8
• Setup: Nov 6 / Move out: Nov 8. 
  
• Hours: Fri 12pm-7pm, Sat 10am-5pm, Sun 10am-4pm

A Handmade Christmas Market (Beban Park, Nanaimo)

• Market: Nov 20-22
• Setup: Nov 20 / Move out: Nov 22.

Mistletoe & Magic (Beban Park, Nanaimo)
