ginger berry YUKAFLUX
MAKES 8 tall COCKTAILS
or a big bowl of punch
16 ounces of Ginger Berry mixer (a full bottle)
8 ounces of gin
8 ounces of vodka
8 ounces of rum
4 cups of diced seedless watermelon (ice cube-sized chunks)
4 cups frozen strawberries (about 4 berries per cup)
1 orange, cut into slices
1L club soda
Get all your watermelon peeled and diced. Put it in a big ziplock bag. Add all the alcohol to the bag, seal it up, and leave it in the fridge for at least 3 hours or better yet, overnight.
To make individual cocktails.
Divide the boozy fruit among 8 solo cups or tall glasses (it works out to just over 2 oz of alcohol per cup).
use a slotted spoon to scoop out the fruit which will make it easier to divide evenly.
Add 2 ounces of Ginger Berry Mixer and stir.
Add 4 frozen strawberries per cup.
Top with club soda.
Pile in as much ice as you can fit.
Garnish with a slice of orange.
To make a big punch bowl
After the watermelon has been booze-infused, put everything into a big punch bowl and stir it with a ladle. Load it up with lots of ice. Guests can serve themselves with the ladle.
