Lumberjack lemonade Dry Shake cocktail
EGG WHITE
The most important step here is to ‘dry shake’ the egg white first before adding anything else to your shaker. That’s how you get a maximum lift on your fizzy floaty topper.
MAKES 2 COCKTAILS
1 egg white (I give the yolk to the dog)
2 oz gin (Flourish from Eau Claire is pretty excellent)
2 oz Lumberjack Lemonade mixer
Lemon zest (use a peeler to remove a strip of lemon skin and then slice it nice and thin)
Step 1, add ice into two coupes or cups you wish to serve these gorgeous cocktails.
Use a cocktail shaker or a mason jar, making sure you ‘dry shake’ the egg white all by itself for at least one minute.
Add the ice, Lumberjack Lemonade, and gin.
Shake for another minute.
Remove the ice from shaker and add to glasses.
Strain the cocktail into the glasses.
Slowly top with sparkling water until it reaches the brim of the cup and then garnish with the lemon zest.
