RHUBARB HABANERO BLOODY MARY
The firey, fiesty red hot queen of Scots
A riff on a Bloody Mary.
Mary, Queen of Scots, was a fierce monarch who ruled with the fires of a thousand stars and led an army of kilted killers.
MAKES 1 COCKTAIL
1 ounce of vodka
3 ounces of tomato juice
1 ounce Rhubarb Habanero mixer
chunky salt for a rimmer
celery stick for garnish
Salty rimmer: Get the rim of your glass wet, and dip it in chunky salt.
Fill the glasses with ice to the very top.
Add 1 ounce of vodka per glass (no one will be surprised if you make it two ounces).
Add 1 ounce of Rhubarb Habanero mixer.
Add 3 ounces of tomato juice to each glass (the temptation will be to fill the glass all the way up, but try your best to measure the tomato juice so you don’t end up diluting the mixer too much).
Stir with a celery stick.
Garnish as you please.
